Save for the rainy day,

So you don’t have to beg, hold people’s leg,

Just to survive.
Save for the rainy day,

So you don’t get wet,

And lose those you just met.
Save for the rainy day,

So you don’t lose your pride,

And have many leave your side.
Save for the rainy day,

Because you don’t know tomorrow.

What it brings, what it takes.

It could bring sorrow or have you borrow.
Save for the rainy day,

So that you are all set,

And all your needs are met.
Save for the rainy day,

So that you can rest and not worry.

What you could have done  ?

What you should have done ?
Save for the rainy day,

So that you don’t lose your head

And become the tail.
Save for the rainy day,

Like what they say,

You sow, you reap.

You dont sow , you don’t reap.
Save for the rainy day,

So that you have prosperous days.
